Chase in Action!

So those of you who haven't been around to see Chase, HE'S WALKING!!!

Well he has been for about a month but I haven't had a chance to sit down and get the video all edited and up on the blog.   He started walking around 9 months, which was way to soon. So anyway here he is cruise'n for a bruise'n, literally, he sometime isn't very aware of his surroundings, but he is really taking off and it is so fun!  Just ignore my annoying voice and camera shaking and enjoy:

This isn't him walking but right before when I went to get him from his nap.  He was so happy and I just thought it was so funny so I had to throw it in here.

And here he is walking:

Chase/California Beach Bum

There were so many things to see and do in San Diego.  Here are some of the highlights:

Here is me with Dad at Sea World during the Shamoo show, I loved the animals but not so much the sitting.  So I spent a lot of time with Grandma walking around.  Thanks Grandma, we were really the ones having the party!

We went out to eat at all these great places, again I loved the food not the sitting.  I can scream pretty loud, if you know what I mean.  Here is me ordering at one of the best fish taco places, Wahoos.

I loved the beach, even though it was a little windy.  I had fun looking at the ocean and seals. But I had the most fun just digging in the sand, I was way to busy to look up for any photos.  The sand also made good food and shampoo.  As I ate a handful of it and rubbed it all over my hair and face.  Now that is what I call fun!

I was lucky enough to hang out with my Grandma and Grandpa Stahle, and my Aunt Madi as well.  I got all the attention, I didn't mind one bit.  Here I am with Grandma at the San Diego Temple.

I did get pretty exhausted with all the excitement and ended most nights with Dad carrying me home dead-asleep.

First Time for Everything

The past couple of weeks have been busy-exciting. I took my first trip on an airplane to Nauvoo. I had a lot of fun crawling from Mom to Dad then back to Mom.  I also made a lot of new friends on the trip, luckily it was because of my good looks and not my big lungs that I impressed them with.

Even though I loved visiting with all my family in Missouri, I was happy to get home.  I crawled all over the house just to make sure everything was still there. Then I was exhausted and fell asleep before Dad could even get my P.J.'s on, which almost never happens.

I also haven't been satisfied with crawling- it's getting a little dull.  So I decided it was time to start propping myself up on anything I can get a hold of.  I'm good with the up part it's just coming down that is sometimes a little bumpy.  Mom is also excited about my extended vocabulary, bababa, I'm still working on the mama and dada.

Mom made me throw this one in here it is one of her faves.  Pardon the partial nakedness, how embarrassing.

6 month Mobile Monster

I cant beleive I have already been alive for 6 months!  Mom tells me to slow down, but I'm showing her, I am moving quicker then ever.

I am finally on the move, so watch out ready or not here I come.  Here I am doing some of my favorite things; crawling, yelling, and playing with new unusual "toys".

Mom and Dad also discovered this month my first tooth.  Happy for them, not so much for me.  I am chewing and slobbering all over the place.

Mom's Little "Helper"

Durning the day me and mom have a lot of things to do around the house, so she likes to put me right to work! I would have to say it seems more like fun then work. My favorite chore to do is vacuum, I will absolutely not let mom do it without me. So mom straps me on and off we go!

Staying Cool!

My first experience in a pool was so much fun.  I think I might be half baby half fish.  Who thought swimming around in a frogs mouth would be so much fun.  This is the good thing about Arizona I can live in the water for the majority of the year and catch some waves and get a killer tan bod, I know you are all jealous!  Dad tried to fit in the pool with me it was so funny to see him all hunched over sitting in my little frog pool.   He wouldn't allow any pictures, but if you use your imagination it is pretty funny, me and mom had a good laugh about it.

Getting more Solid!

After endless grabbing and drooling, mom and dad finally gave in and are feeding me big people food (if you could call rice cereal real food).  It is so good, every time I see that yummy spoonful of goodness, my whole body goes crazy and I gulp it down!!  Now if dad could just aim a little better I might get some actually in my tummy. -Chase
